French Onion Soup

French Onion Soup
Ingredients
  • 5 medium onions, sliced
  • 40gr butter
  • 5 cups stock
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Cook onions slowly in butter until soft but not brown, about 20 minutes. Add stock and salt. Simmer at least 30 minutes. Adjust seasoning. Makes about 5 cups
