French Omelette

French Omelette
A simple omelette recipe with some variations.
  1. Break eggs into a bowl. Add salt and pepper.
  2. Beat eggs lightly.
  3. Melt butler in a small frying pan.
  4. As butter loams, pour in eggs. Do not allow butter to brown before adding omelette mixture.
  5. As omelette begins to set lift edges to cause unset eggs to run on to bottom of pan.
  6. Fold omelette in half and serve on a warm plate.
  7. Serve at once, garnished with parsley.
  1. Bacon Omelette: Add a little finely chopped cooked bacon and 1 teaspoon finely chopped shallots to egg mixture.
  2. Cheese Omelette: Add some finely grated cheese to egg mixture.
  3. Mushroom Omelette: fry some chopped mushrooms in a little butler and add to egg mixture
