:D Chrissy is coming everyone!!, Yes I know, we dont need to be reminded, but Im sorry to say , we cant stop it, Oh god, my wallet feels it already.
But on a happier note, something we are all familuar with at this time of year, "What is in your plans for a YUMMY Chrissy Lunch or Dinner", What is everyone having and doing, I love talking about celebration meals as it gives me new ideas for my lunch or dinner. There must be some great new ideas out there as well as all the traditional ones, I love both new and old, Im all up for trying a new dish every year, How about you??, What is your new and old menues for Chrissy lunch or boxing day, Here's mine.
We are either going to have a Roast Pork with all the trimmings, roast veggies, apple sauce and gravey, or a beautiful cold meat and a heap of salad, which will include, a heap of seafood,Ham off the bone, cold chicken or turkey, cold pork, maybe some fish ( not sure about that one yet ), salads galour, and for dessert, my all time favourites that we have every year, Pavlova with heaps of cream and fruit, as well as a Sherry Trifle, with heaps of jelly and custard as well as whatever else I put in it. All of that washed down with heaps of Champayne,Wine,Malibu, Gin,vodka, and what ever other drinks that may be available, I love to make a great fruit punch as well, we will see. So thats me, what about everybody else, lets hear all those great ideas , give me something different this year, I'd love to hear them.
Thanks all, will talk again soon. 8-)

Howdy Spiritwolf
Maybe people arent keen to start worrying about xmas yet :S
I am not sure what we will be doing yet but I am thinking of a picnic or a barby somewhere near water. Last year the Mrs spent all day cooped up in a hot kitchen trying to please her ungrateful rellies so I am sure she would be happy for me to take over somewhat this year. As to exactly what tucker we will have.. no ideas yet.
Your idea of cold meat and salads sounds good. And yummo to pav and trifle!! And beer :P

:) Thank-You Pickles, you are the only one so far that has replied , apart from Aussiecook, but its nice to hear from you and talk, I like talking as well as reading, I just put this question up here to get other peoples ideas, It doesn't mean we have to think about what we are having just yet, BUT personally myself, I would:nt leave it to much longer. Christmas is coming and we cant stop it, I LOVE CHRISTMAS time, I think its great to get others ideas on different foods and what they are cooking, I dont know about anyone else, but its fun, It gives me new ideas on what I havent tried yet, I always try to do something new every year. Thanks again for your reply, I appriciate it. :)
