I watched Better Homes and Gardens in September and Fast Ed had a recipe for a pastry based lemon tea cake.
You lined a acke tin with half the pastry then put in a lemon (I think he called it a ganash) custard flour thickened stuff in and then put lumps fo pastry over the top - looked great - but has anyone cooked it and did it work OK? Or does anyone have a recipe similar?
I would really like to make it for afternoon tea when the rellies come round next Wednesday.
