Is an island a must in a new kitchen? I would think the extra counter space and look wouold be a good add to my new kitchen.

I love Islands in Kitchens, but you MUST have the room for one, you need to be able to move around it with ease and have room to cook and walk with ease. If you have a large kitchen, then GO FOR IT, I wish I did, I would certainly have one, but my kitchen is Toooo small, If you dont have a big kitchen or there is not much room, then its maybe not such a good idea, unless you can move it ( like a mobile one, that is not stuck in one place ), and then you can store it in a place untill you need to use it, then bring it out, that may be a good idea, its up to you, " How much room do you have, do you think it would be enough ".?? :)
