Flavor wave Nu Wave or Halogen Cooking

Hi Everyon

Has anyone bought or tried a Flavor Wave? I would love to know if they are good value. I also do not know anything about the pro's and con's of Halogen cooking. I have seen the flavor wave on TV and it was very enticing, just wondering if it is as good as the advertising?

Hey Nova!

My brother got a flavour wave for christmas! It was a bit of a joke present because he cannot cook to save his life. All I can really say for it though is that it is good in theory. If you're cooking something like chicken where you want the whole thing cooked through it works quiet well. It's like a cross between roasting and microwaving.

However I will say this, if you like your steak medium rare, or even medium, you are better off using a more traditional way of cooking. It really does cook from the inside out.
