What is your favourite comfort food??. Mine are: Bangers and Mash with gravey and corn, Rissoles and mash tatties with greens, A great Roast Pork with roast veggies and apple sauce and gravey, Spagg Bol. A great chicken noodle soup, and a home made pumpkin soup, and for dessert, I cant go past a BIG PAVLOVA and a SHERRY TRIFLE. How about everyone else?? 8-)

Roast pork is for sure one of mine.. we have a roast every week and I always push for pork when we are at the supermarket.
Self saucing chocolate pudding or syrup dumplings are my comfort desserts, yummo!!!
Spag bol is another one!

Anything with chicken is usually a success. Can't really mess up chicken and the hardest part would be making the side to go with it. And let's face it, not too hard.

Tacos are my comfort food that I could not live without. You can do some much with them and they are simple.

I am a member of a site called Simple Savings. It is a good place and lots of good ideas for saving money and cooking better. At the moment I am working on not spending too much money grocery wise but using up what we have in the freezer and pantry. Some of the goods in the bottom of the freezer have been there quite a while and when I tidied up the pantry I found 8 tins of Mandarins....and I thought I had one or two.!!!!So tonight we are having pumpkin soup with lots of vegies that may not see out too many more days and a self-saucing chocolate pudding and custard made with custard powder that was at the back of the pantry but still has time on its use by date.
