old school cook book

I am after a cook book I used at school. I have one but its in tatters, no cover or the first few pages. Also many of the pages are stuck together. I dunno what its called :P but it had a yellow cover I think, is full of basic recipes and the author was something like Bunny. If someone knows what its called that might help me find one to buy.

Hi John
I think its one I have been looking for too.. Everyday Cookery by Helen Bunney. Going by online research she also wrote one in 1987 called Everyday Cookery for Healthy Living. I just checked ebay and none there, I am going to look at the book exchange next time I am down that way. :)

A lot of the older cook books have some great classic recipes in them that have not been messed with. I really have a good collection of older cook books that I don't think I could ever part with.

I agree with stan. My parents gave me a cookbook that has been passed down the family for generations and I can't part with it. Some big time secrets in there too.

Hi I had one of my favorite cook books thrown out behind my back & I cannot find this book anywhere.
They thought it looked old so it was thrown in the bin.

I know this is a very old post from the original question, my mum wrote this book, unfortunately it is now out of print, so you will only be able to find a copy of it in a second hand bookstore..
