Hi and welcome to the Aussie cooking forums. We want everyone to enjoy their time here so please follow these basic guidelines:

The "Say Hi" forum is for new users to introduce themselves. By doing this we can see they may not be spammers and give them the privilege of not having their posts wait in a queue to be accepted. As soon as you see you are in the "cooks" group you know your posts are published automatically. If you turn out to be a spammer you will be removed from the group asap.

EDIT July 08: We have made a change as a test: When you first sign up you can post in the Say Hi forum and not need your post to be approved. Any other forums will require approval of the post by admin unless you have been added to the 'Cooks' group. Anyone who says hi and doesn't seem to be a spammer will added to 'cooks' asap.

This should not be an inconvenience to anyone, you should only have your first post waiting to be accepted and after that all posts will be published straight away. I am sure you all appreciate not having to wade through spam.

If your only purpose here is to advertise your business or website do not bother! Regular posters may place relevant links or talk about their business but if we deem thats all you are here for your account will be banned and posts removed.

Inappropriate or offensive language is not permitted on this forum.

We ask that you please be considerate to other members in the forum when posting.

We will not tolerate users expressing forms of bigotry, racism, hatred, or profanity.

Do not use the forum to threaten, harass, stalk, or abuse others.

We encourage the use of usernames rather than your actual name, to protect your privacy.

Please refrain from choosing offensive usernames.

We do not allow any illegal activities on this forum. You cannot use the forum to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other unlawful material or information.

Do not upload files or post messages that contain photos, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity or any other applicable law unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents. We are not responsible anything you say or post.

Administrators or moderators reserve the right to delete any posts which they find breach the guidelines.

Administrators or moderators reserve the right to ban a user at any time, without notice.
