100 grams butter
4 cups SR Flour
1 cup sugar
2 cups beer
1 beaten egg
1 cup mixed fruit
1 tsp mixed spice
Rub the butter into the flour. Mix sugar and spice into flour. Then add the fruit and egg. Add beer, mixing well. Pour into a 10 inch baking dish.
You can add this topping to it:
1 cup plain flour, 1 cup sugar, 80 grams of butter. Crumble together and sprinkle over the cake.
Bake at 160 C for around 30 minutes.
